Sounds like she's cold when not sleeping with you. Maybe you should fix her up another bed where she wants to sleep so she has another warm place to curl up if she doesn't want to sleep with you. We have our little girl in her plastic carrier at night with a nice feather pillow in the bottom and covered over the top with a blanket, so she just gets air through the front entrace to the carrier. She seems to be warm that way and sleeps very soundly. Yorkies only have hair to keep them warm, not fur. So they are more sensative to cold. |
