With that face he IS innocent - he didn't do it I swear !! Maybe he's trying to dig to the Spy Girls fence & come visit ??
we have the same problem only it's my neighbors dogs digging into MY yard....it must be something in the Houston air....that was so funny he was hiding ...but not funny you know ?
All I know is I've done the same things you've done and my fence looks like a drunk carpenter worked on it on that side....I got SO frustrated back when they had a pit bull for a short time - I actually made a sign and hung it out there ....
It looks like I tried to block out aliens or something with all the boards I pounded into the fence....you know the movies where the guy's wearing a tin foil hat thinking aliens are talking to them ?? that's just what my fence looks like now ! It's awful. see ??
