That's too funny. This last past Christmas I was wrapping gifts on the floor when Gus started barking. A few days earlier we had a mouse in the house and Gus was chasing it around the house while I was on a chair yelling for my son to come and try and catch it. I had to put Gus in the bathroom with a towel under the door so the mouse wouldn't run in there. I didn't want gus to kill it in the house or get bit by it. Well it took some time but my son caught it and set it free outside.

So anyway, I was all alone. Everyone was asleep upstairs when Gus started barking. I thought is was another mouse and jump on the counter. Come to find out it was his own reflection on the sliding glass door that he was barking at. I was so relieved but felt so stupid. The next day my husband had a good laugh and was thankful that I didnt wake him up to come catch a mouse that wasnt there.
