Bernie joined our family a few months ago. He was a year old (still is) at the time and had had a pretty rough life.

I guess we've been lucky, but he fit in since day one. We still have some training to do, but he wants soooooo badly to please and he's such a sweetheart.

After rescuing Mr. Bernie, I will probably never "purchase" a puppy again.
