Yes, this happened when I gave my girls bully sticks and it's no wonder. DISCLAIMER: what I am about to write is not for the easily queasy. I left them in a drawer in my kitchen for awhile (2 weeks) trying to decide what I would do with them. When I opened my drawer to get something I got the nice surprise of maggots erecting from the bully sticks and covering them. Needless to say I will never buy them again.
