Yes, Giardia is a scary thing!! Glad your vet re-tested and found it!! Sissy had a bad case last summer and already had it this year as well. Our vet said there are many cases right now and this is generally not the time of year for it, but with winter having been so mild everywhere, nothing got killed off like it normally does. Once they have had Giardia, they will always be more susceptible to getting it again. It can also be in the upper or lower GI tract or both. Lower GI will be diarrhea based, upper GI will be vomiting. We've had one of each so far!!!
