A bitch should not be bred until her 2nd heat or 2 yrs. old which ever comes first. The amount of litters she produces depends upon how often you breed her but she should not be bred past 6 yrs. old. If you breed 2 rest 1 like I do than that means she would produce 8 litters if she has her first heat at 10 monthes old and cycles every 6 monthes. She would whelp at 18 & 24 months, break, 36 & 42 monthes, break, 54 & 60 monthes, break, 72 & 78 months, retire. Of course this is just an estimate as no one is that regular and breedings don't always take. Hope this helps.
