for some reason, archie only eats while he plays with his ball. not only that, he wants me to play with him while he eats. if i don't, he keeps bringing the ball to me and scratches my hand to ask me to come to where his food is. i have to throw the ball, he catches it and brings it back to his food bowl, puts it by his side and then eats. then he rolls the ball over to me, and I have to throw it and the process starts over again.

i'm not sure how i can stop this habit or whether i even need to. this is like a ritual every single night, which starts between 9:30 and 10, after he comes back from his nightly walk.

does any one else's dog have weird eating habits?
