A friend of mine is interested in getting a Yorkie. She contacted some breeders w/the ytca but they were all out of her price league ($1800) and up. She looked in the local paper and found someone w/4 pups that are AKC, she went and saw them but she said the breeders home was very smellly and not so clean. Although she said the pups seemed to be well taken care of she could not get passed the home. She then went a saw some pups that will be available starting next week sometime. They are not AKC but are APR. She said the breeder was supper nice, when she was there someone else had come (a repeat customer) looking to purchase another one. She is not looking to show the dog but just to love him/her as most of us are as a pet. Does it really matter if they are w/APR and not AKC????
