She knew all this before I purchased my dog from her so I don't really think that she would try to screw me being that she is at her daughters often and I could just stop by.

Well you did a great thing by getting your puppy from a local breeder. She probably is very good at what she does. As, far as screwing you, remember no reputable breeder intentionally breed problems. Breeders breed with all the best intentions. However, problems can pop up at anytime and the difference between a reputable breeder and one that is just in it for the money is; the reputable breeder will stand behind you if anything should go wrong.
