As you can see from the photos the mother is a yorkie. She is 1/2 Biewer, so she has the piebald gene (no white though). When a Splitter (1/2 Biewer Yorkie) is bred to a Biewer, it is a 50/50 chance for Biewer or Yorkie puppies. If the Yorkie is a standard with no piebald gene, then all of the puppies will look like standard yorkies. Simply, It takes 2 recessive genes in order for the color pattern to show up.Each parents has to give one of these genes. If a parent does not have a piebald gene to give then there is not a chance for a Biewer. Hope this is not too confusing!
