I use the Easy Walker harness on Banjo with a retractable leash. He used to pull all of the time, you would think he was pulling a sled

The easy walker harness stops him pulling yet he still has the freedom of sniffing and running where he wants. When he is at the end of leash he knows to stop, and wait for me to catch up ha ha. I like him to have the freedom to sniff and go where he wants (as far as the retractable leash will let him) I only shorten it when cars come along or other dogs. Check out their website.
