Milli is pretty well behaved while on her leash, probably because she's so little that she knows she won't get anywhere if she does try and pull. Emma, on the other hand, pulls like you wouldn't believe on the leash, and I'm not sure what to do about it.

We took her to puppy classes when she was 5 months old, and practiced there. To me it was a waste of time (Petco classes=bust). We've been walking Emma and Milli each night, and Emma doesn't like to walk next to us, and pulls, goes off to sniff, etc. I keep her on a really short leash, but it looks like I'm being mean to her since it's so short and she can't move anywhere other than where I want her to.

Any advice?
