DEFINITELY, stay away from Puppy Elite in Brooklyn, NY. This is NOT a breeder, he is a broker--big time.
The puppies advertised on his site are false in their weights, registry and heritage. They state the puppies are AKC, but you never get the papers.
My puppy, he said weighed 1 lb, 3 oz, at 12 weeks,when I bought her. I took her to the vet the very next day and she was 2 lbs, 7 oz and was 8 weeks old and not 12 weeks old!! We were told the AKC papers would be mailed to us. We are still waiting, and our baby is now almost a yr old!
If you try to fight him in Small Claims court or through you credit card, he will demand repossession of the dog. Although our puppy turned out to be less than what she was advertised and what we paid for---she is still our sweet heart and we love her. She is also the smartest dog I have ever had. There was no way we were willing to risk losing her, just to get our money back. So we dropped all action we were pursuing through Small Claims court and through our credit card. |
