I know what you mean, our 2 1/2 pounder stepped off ONE STEP one day, knocked himself silly and twisted his knee and wouldn't put his leg down for two days!
He can't sleep on the bed with anyone...he has to stay barracaded at night. If someone rolls over on Cody or Abby or Trixie, they grunt and move, if someone rolls over (or less!) on him, he gets crushed.
