Default Hi-qual cereal for carbs?

What is the opinion on giving a high-quality cereal (occasionally) for some of the carb portion for our pups?

I eat Kashi Go Lean and I swear it is one of the world's miracle foods. So healthy, has protein, hi-qual carbs, great fiber content.

It does contain some wheat - so is that a problem for dogs?

Dogs tend to love cereals, so I'm wondering if this could be part of their diet? One could mix it with their yogurt and then it'd be even healthier!

Thoughts?
