Sounds like you an hubby need to sit down and have a little heart to heart. He needs to stick up for you in front of that mother of his and let her know that you are his wife and will not be treated that way. She sounds like a very cold selfish person to think a birthday party is more important that grieving for the loss of a loved one like that. Please stand up for yourself towards her and dont let her walk on you or she will never stop leaving tracks on your forehead. Hubby needs to get some ##### and put a stop to this nonsense right now before you end up in the hospital worrying about it. I know how you feel.
