Oh dear, what debate has been going on here when I am away in my sick-bed, lol
Still not well, but a few clarifications......
Yorkshire is not a town, lol, but a county. I have said in previous threads that the Yorkie was brought from Scotland and bred with others to make a very small - the smaller the better, rat-catching dog for the coal pits of Yorkshire.....that is a well known fact....and the origins of the Yorkshire Terrier are agreed to be Scotland - with input from England, who perfected them for the job they were needed for.
Hope this helps all the countries who love this wee dog and wonder where it came from....a wee bit of knowledge from the land of it's fathers, lol.

As for tail docking - I have to agree it is all down to preferrence, and my three have thankfully never had a problem with a broken tail - so they have been saved from all forms of pain, for any reason.
They are all happy smiling wee babies at the mo ! See pics......

Debra - falling apart and flamin' sore, and ripped to pieces, BUT STILL HERE !
