It took a long time for my first yorkie to accept our poodle. Around two years. She was so upset!
It takes time, I would not separate them unless you aren't there to supervise. They have to get used to one another.
Something that worked for me - put both dogs on your lap and pet them both at the same time. That way they are close together, and they realize you have time to love them both. |
