i got my baby a little more than 2 weeks ago and just like your pup he is 10 weeks old...he used to cry and cry and cry when i left his sight but i just had to be strong and not encourage his behaviour by giving him attention when he cries...i know it is very heart breaking and you feel horrible but over the time, they actually get used to your pattern and learn that they cannot rule you with their cute puppy cries hehehe...
roscoe still cries a bit when i am about to leave for work or go to bed (as he sleeps in his crate) but he gets better and better each day...
my best suggestion would be to get some ear plugs and ignore each time the puppy cries for your attention...
