I am so sorry for your loss! We also lost our first, precious little yorkie, Tashee at the age of 10 yrs. She also had a collapsed trachea, but seemed fine and just got very sick one night and before we even had a chance to take her to the vet she passed away. That was over 4 yrs. ago and we still miss her very much. I hope you will consider another yorkie at some point, not to replace your little Mac, but to help fill the void of his loss.
