I have used Coat Handlers ever since I brought Toto home at 16 weeks. It's what Ava uses on her showdogs and she gave it along with the other puppy stuff. I only use the Clarifying Shampoo and the Conditioner. I use diluted conditioner to spritz her hair when brushing it ... helps with tangles and any damage. The Clarifying Shampoo doesn't burn her eyes and I have never had any skin problems with this. The only time she has ever scratched is after going to groomers and I simply bathe her in her Coat Handlers the day after her grooming.
