How long have you had the puppy? It usually takes a while for them to accept the new member into the home. It takes my oldest female about 2 weeks before she readily accepts new ones into my home. I try not to keep them seperated too much, but I do warn the older ones about snapping the youngsters. I do take one and put them into another area if it seems to be too much for them. The puppies are a lot more energetic than an adult dog, and can really get on their nerves sometimes. |
