It all depends on the body type (as much as weight)....my little boy Sammie is almost 3 pounds but he's really sturdy (has short legs, short body length)...he's like a bowling ball ....but if he's in my arms for a while, I have to switch arms or make sure he's in his carrying bag.
My little girl Rio is only 1 pound 9 ounces but her body is more fragile (like a slinky) so even though she's lighter in weight...it's kind of hard to carry her because she doesn't really hug onto your hand, she dangles...
Does this make sense?
