I think it is just a personal preference for some people. I have a 3 pounder and a six pounder. I love them both more then I can say, but I much prefer the size of Peanut, my 3 pounder. Peanut has NO health problems what-so-ever thankfully, so you can have a healthy smaller sized Yorkie. I agree that this is not always the case, but in my case and in many others mine has been a very healthy kid, almost 4 years old and healthy as a horse.
