Okay... I for one just don't get it! Spaying and Neutering is force fed at every Veterinarian's Office imaginable. But, the fees incurred are just outrageous! A procedure that would have cost me $60 by way of SNAP, Inc. (Spay Neuter All Pets, Inc.) just cost me $422.23!!!

I can't complain too much I guess, since it was done on an emergency basis since she was in heat! But, the norm for what my Vet charges emergency or not adds up as follows:
$300 Ovariohysterectomy - Canine <25 lbs
$39 Pre-Op Blood Survey
$9 Hazardous Waste Disposal (UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE!!! One would think this to be included in with the spay fees)
$75 Removal of deciduous teeth ($10+ for 7 teeth!?!?

)
Just where do they come up with these prices...I wonder?!?!
