That sounds like a good idea. Maybe leave the medicine just for you, so you don't have to worry about the effect it will have on her. Or maybe your vet can recommend something. If you do give her benadryl, or something from the vet, maybe try giving it to her a few days before you actually fly, so you know how she'll react to it.
