We are using Honest Kitchen and I honestly can't even imagine giving them any other "dog" food after doing some reserch into what goes into the dog foods. I can feed them this without worry.
We tried the Force because it doesn't have grains but they didn't take to it right away so we went to the Verve. Still needed alittle coaxing with added chicken broth and sweet potatoes but now they are right on board and look forward to it. Evnetually I will try to go back to the Force.
You don't need to add anything. Everything you need is in there I just add for variety. But trying to wean them off of the added stuff because we will be on the road for about 15 days soon and I won't be able to cook for them like I do at home.
If you don't like the fack that it is raw you can always cook it too!
It is however, heated to a temp that is supposed to be safe but not to a temp that is considered cooked.
