Okay, I have been trying to do some research on The Honest Kitchen Pet food. I bought a bag and is what I am feeding now.
In the pamphlet that came with the food it says "Our products are guaranteed 100% human-grade-food because they are not produced in a pet plant. They are made in an FDA approved, human-food producing facility in South Calif., that makes the very same foods you eat".
I called the FDA and spoke to someone in the pet foods dept....they said they don't physically go inspect any facility. They only inspect the food and ingredients. They had no records of the honest kitchen
I called the honest kitchen.........they said the same
However, I heard dogs barking in the background when they answered
PLEASE can someone help me and call the honest kitchen and verify that I am not insane and hear dogs barking in the background? Why are they there?
I don't support animal testing and you know where my mind is going
