Bring his food over to that spot and feed him there. He will start to associate that spot with eating and not want to poop there anymore. Does he have an ex-pen? Maybe you could pee pee pad train him. Just put some of his poop on the pad, so he can get his sent, and he should start to use the pad. Keep him in his ex-pen (if he has one) until he goes poop, and then praise him like silly when he goes. Hope that helps!
