My little Brea is still walking/running on 3 legs. The radiologist said he sees something in her joint (the femur bone?) and it could be the early stages of Leggs Perthe or something else. They want to wait a couple weeks and take another x-ray. I got some pain meds for 3 days. I don't want her going around being in pain for at least a couple more weeks.
My vet said when the orthopedic vet comes around to the office again, she will call me and I can bring Brea in for an exam by him. (another $90.00)
She is just so little - it scares me. She is 3.6#. I thought she would be bigger. Her half sister is 8+#'s. |
