Here are the must-haves in my house:
a crate for sleeping
a fleece blanket for sleeping on
a nylabone
some plush squeeky toys
a rubber ball for fetch
pee-pads & pee-pad spray (if you are going to indoor train)
baby gates for blocking off rooms you don't want them in
a harness and leash (adjustable)
food/bowls/treats
car seat or car harness of some kind
grooming supplies (brush, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner)
I think that's everything I started out with. Of course now she has clothing and a bed and stuff like that. But she doesn't really "need" that...she is just spoiled
