Default How much should I be feeding Chloe?

I'm having trouble figuring out how much to feed Chloe. She's almost 6 months old and is barely over 2lbs. She's so tiny. Skinny, but not super skinny...skinny enough that Mommy's a little worried, though.

I've been feeding her Royal Canin & Eukanuba dry mixed together (breeder had her on Eukanuba & I'm switching her slowly) and Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul wet.

The can of Chicken Soup... can says that she should be eating 1 - 1 1/2 cans!!! Those cans are HUGE! Her dry food bag says that she should be eating like 2 cups of dry food per day.

Now, I know that the food companies will obviously inflate the amount to sell more, but come on! That's a freakin lot of food for a 2lb puppy!

When I first got her I tried to get her on a eating schedule, but she wouldn't eat when I gave her the food. So, I started leaving the dry food out all the time so that she could pick at it a little bit whenever she wanted. She hardly touches it at all, though. She might eat about 1/8 cup max all day.

Then, I found Chicken Soup... so I started giving her about a Tbsp of that at dinner time and she loves it. So, I tried to give her 2 Tbsp, but she won't eat more than half (about 1 Tbsp).

Now that I'm getting a little worried about her size, I have started trying to give her a Tbsp in the AM and a Tbsp at dinner time. Sometimes she'll eat in the morning, but most of the time she just eats at dinnertime.

Basically, she's getting about 1/4 food MAX per day (and that's only on a GREAT day).

Should I be forcing her to eat more? Or, should I add some sugar/syrup to her water?

I don't want her to get fat, but I do want her to bulk up a little bit. The vet says she's healthy as she is, but Mommy's a worrier since she's so little

Sorry this is so long...just looking for some help. Thanks in advance
