Has anyone noticed their dogs hacking after chewing on stuffed toys? I try to keep Eddie from shreading them, but I'm not always successful. I noticed yesterday when he was playing with a neighbor dog that he would occasionally stop play and start hacking like he was trying to clear his throat.

I'm going to stop giving him soft toys for a while and hope the problem clears up. I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed that kind of hacking. Maybe it's not even toy related.
