Lexie is just recently (last couple of weeks) getting used to having her hair up. I think she's starting to actually prefer it up. I had the same problems you did. I don't know exactly what changed but she just stopped messing with it. Maybe it just takes some time for them to get used to having something in their hair. Make sure it's not pulled too tight as that is irritating. If you're using a bow, leave the bow off for a few days. Try just using the bands by themselves and let her get used to that first, then work up to a barrette. Make sure you take it out every night to get her head/hair a break. Good luck! |
