Tapeworms are caused by your pup eating fleas, they look like little grains of rice in the pups stool. The grains are actually segements of the worm that have broken off. You can purchase a dewormer for this from Petsmart, read the directions for dosage. Much cheaper than going to the vet for this type of worm treatment. Of course if you are not sure that it is tapeworms you should go to your vet for a fecal float to determine what type of worm it is. Best of luck.
