Yeah, I think the key is being patient and understanding that they did have surgery and have to recover just like us humans do. They just do it in a different way. My co-worker's maltese just got neutered recently and she is having the same problem.
Since I posted this thread, he's been much better. He was actually a sweetheart this past weekend...so he's back to his normal self. When he sat on my lap and slept while I watched a movie twice this weekend I knew my Izzy was back to normal
