my dog duke has liver shunt. we find out yesterday from my vet.duke started 2 weeks a go with with seizure. so my vet run the acids test on him (the test cost about 40 dollars). my vet said we have to see a specialist in san antonio that is 90 miles from us. this is going to be cheap. so i went on the internet and typed in liver shunt and came a cross this on yorkshire terrier national rescue inc. with this in formation. i wished i had that information. i wanred to share this with you guys. please keep my duke in your prayer. we going to san antonio on thursday.
Buying a New Puppy? Liver Shunt Test ALERT
Do not buy any puppy unless it has had a bile acids test run before and after eating and you have seen the results of the test. Liver Shunt is running rampant in many breeds of dogs right now and especially in Yorkshire Terriers.
