I myself use Emu Oil, but bathe every 4 days, use it after their bath, but alternate leaving it off every other bath....just to allow their skin to breath and avoid clogging the skin. Almond oil is another good oil.

what is the purpose for oiling? does it help in maintaining the coat color and texture? i am currently using pure paws light oil and cream conditioner. i was told to mix the cream conditioner with the light oil. anyone here happen to use them too?
i was reading the other posting on coat type here. i still have doubt about my yorky coat type. what should i do?
