We had to take one of our babies to the emergency vet one night because she was doing the same thing. Vet found that she had somehow got a large abount of hair from the side of her face into her mouth and down the back of her throat causing her to gag every minute or so. We couldnt see anything in her mouth or throat. It sounded like she had swallowed something and could not breathe. It still happens to both of them once in a while, usually after playing and chewing on their favorite little stuffed toys. They like to get then in the side of their mouth and gnaw on them. At least we know what to look for now. Anybody else ever had this??? |
