The specialist's office called me today and said that Maya definatley has Cushings but she wants to wait until she is back in town to start the treatment so she can monitor her. She is at a dermatolgy conference all week, I am so nervous about the treatment as the "loading phase" which can take 5-8 days is very tricky as you have to kill off just the right amount of the adrenal gland or they can crash and you have to have prednisone on hand in case they do. They have to be watched very closely and I am so busy with my Dad I may have to have him come here during the days so I can be here to watch her. Please say some prayers that we can get her loaded and then on a maintenance dose. Thanks
