I was having the same problem with my baby boy. His eyes would be fine in the morning but with activity (running after my other yorkie), his eyes would run so bad. His vet put a dye in his eyes and then used an UV light. Moisture should have come out of his nose, which it did not. I was told that either his tear ducts are plugged or he does not have any. I asked if I needed to do something (like surgery or whatever was needed) and she said no, just wipe his eyes when needed. I live in a small town (1,200) so I don't have too many vets to get second and third opinions but from what I have read on the internet, that seems to be what others are saying.

It is a pain to have to wipe his eyes, but only because he hates it and fights with me. I hate to put him through that but nothing else I can do.
