Right of 1st refusal means: That you will take the puppy back and/or assist in placing the puppy in a home of your approval.....this should also be your responsibility should you stud your dog and the breeder cannot take the puppy back.
6 month guarantee is not sufficient..... Any reputable breeder should not have a problem with a 1-5 year guarantee, since it speaks volumes that you have confidence in your breeding stock and stand behind it.
