Sorry it took so long. There was a bit of scare about the Natural Balance Venison and brown rice product. On their website, they have voluntarily removed the product from the shelf as a precaution because of a couple of complaints they recieved. I call immediately (that's the food my kids are on) and she said that only certain bags are in question and they have NOT been recalled by the FDA............but she thought it was from people switching thier dogs to the Natural Balance suddenly that is causing the runs in the people's dogs. But they just wanted to be on the safe side. I guess anyone that uses the product can call and ask about their particular bag as it seems there is a "date" on the bag that is involved in the voluntary removal from the shelves. My bag dates were not the date!
