Yes, I wish she could talk She's 4 years old, has had 2 litters and been spayed. Don't think she's just now getting independent. Does enough of that already during the day. But, when it gets dark, it's always been mommy time. ????
Not doing anything in the house to get scolded for. Uses puppy pads when she can't go out and there have been no accidents.
Ok, Science Diet and Iams not so good - what do others feed? She loves our food of course but only give her bites because of added salt and flavorings. She's always had "bites" and had has nothing new lately.
We had her spayed because she produced a beautiful TINY baby boy in her 2nd litter with livershunt. Didn't show up for 6 months. Those people were so heart broken (and so was I). When they lost him, we had her spayed. Couldn't ever put anyone or any baby through that again!
But, Lexy has never had a problem, always plenty of energy - no down times. At 4 years old I wouldn't think she'd just now begin to show signs of liver shunt.
We travel a lot. Just returned from winter in AZ on March 19th. So, we've been home long enough the effects of the trip shouldn't be a source nor anythng she might have picked up in AZ.
