i'd still get an x-ray done to make sure nothing else is stuck in him. There was a dog in hospital on friday that had a blockage for month...we had to put him to sleep because his digestive tract was basically dead from having the blood supply weakened to certain areas.

the diarrhea can be related to the blockage or it can be related to intestinal parasites. either way i would want to make sure

hope he is feeling better soon.

just because he seems normal doesn't mean he is. that is one of the signs of a dog with a blockage. the dog seems perfectly normal in every way except for the vomiting and diarrhea. i don't think you mentioned that yours was vomiting but you can never be too careful with these guys.
