I take my boy along and am especially careful with him, I never take my eyes off of him unless he is in my arms or in his carrier. I've never heard of any pet-nappings but I'm a protective mom.

I'm local so I don't really participate in any special event, we just go and enjoy the blossoms outside, look at the gardens, and relax on the lawns. Pets are not allowed on the metro trains, you could probably sneak a yorkie but it's always best not to take that chance of getting kicked off anywhere.
