Just playing devil's advocate. It might also be that the seller does not know that it is not an original. I got taken once on Ebay. I bought a used Saxophone, listed as being without imperfections. After a few weeks, I decided I did not want it and listed it on Ebay. I sold it and the buyer accused me of scamming, citing all these things that were wrong with it. Of course, by that time the seller I bought it from was no where to be found. I was out $500 and still have a Saxophone that is worth essentially nothing. Lesson learned: Both buyer and seller should beware! Ask lots of questions. In the case of the carrier, if you are certain it is not the real deal, I would use the question feature and make a comment there, so buyers will beware.
