If this pure bred dog is found to be unsound upon your veterinarian's examination, please return to breeder/seller's premises within the period of time designated above for a full refund. A written assessment signed by your veterinarian must accompany the puppy for refund or replacement to be made.
12 Month Guarantee: If this dog is stated to have a congenital or hereditary defect within the first 12 months from your puppies date of birth that will severely interfere with the life function or mobility of the puppy, or is considered life threatening, we are obligated to replace the puppy. We will replace the dog with one or equal value. If we are unable to replace the defective puppy within a period of 6 months, the purchase price will be refunded. It is expressly understood that hypoglycemia is excluded from this guarantee. To make a claim under this warranty, the buyer must provide a signed statement by a licensed vet indicating the date of diagnosis, the nature of the defect, the reason the defect is hereditary or congenital in nature, and the reason why the defect prevents the puppy from serving as a companion pet. We do require a second opinion by our vet. No refund will be given after that time. All sales are final and no refund will be given if the dog is returned for any reason other than a failure to pass the vet check or a hereditary disease up to 1 year.
Breeder/Seller and Buyer certify by signing this bill of sale that this dog is not sold for resale purposes and that the breeder will be notified if it is necessary for this dog to change hands and right of first refusal will be given to the breeder/seller. Breeder/Seller and Buyer also agree that if any litigation arises between the parties of this sales contract that it must be brought to suit in the County that the Breeder is currently residing in at the time of the suit.
THIS BREEDER WILL REPLACE THIS DOG IF IT DIES DUE TO ANY HEREDITARY PROBLEMS IF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE MET. If this dog is being bought as Pet Quality only, then buyer must agree to have the dog spay/neutered. It is this breeders advice that the dog be spayed between 4 to 6 months as this is when the dog usually has double canines and they can be pulled at the same time as the spay/neuter.

Have your veterinarian check the puppy teeth at 4-6 months to remove the retained puppy teeth. This breeder has had the dog under the care of the vets at Tri-County Vet Hospital and will transfer all vet records at point of sale. First 2 sets of shots will be given before pet is transferred to new home. Breeder holds no responsibility to any adverse reaction to shots given after that time.

1. PET QUALITY is a quality classification set by the breeder indicating that this dog will not be used for breeding and will be in a loving home and a pet only.
2. LIMITED REGISTRATION allows registration with the American Kennel Club (AKC) but with certain restrictions. The registration certifies that the animal is a purebred Yorkshire Terrier, but does not allow competition in AKC licensed conformation shows. Offspring resulting from this animal are not allowed to be registered with AKC.
3. ALTERING is a surgery done by a veterinarian that renders the animal unable to produce offspring.
4. GENETIC DEFECT any condition which is widely held by the veterinary profession to be hereditary in nature. Exceptions are patellar luxation or tracheal collapse because of environmental issues.
