Welcome to YT and yorkie "parenting" =) It seems pretty normal for his puppy stage with the exception of the stubborness and BIG attitude. He will never outgrow that, so get used to it! Showing him that you are the leader of the pack will keep it under control though. It's also a great thing because it's what contributes to yorkies great personality and expressions.
Don't be afraid to discipline him because of his size, that shouldn't have anything to do with it because making a sharp noise, using a serious tone, or water spray bottle should do the trick. Physical abuse, aka spankings, are so outdated. Positive reinforcement is what it's all about these days! You could also try an "alpha roll" were you grab him by the shoulder blades and roll him onto his back, belly up. It's the doggie way of saying "i'm the boss."
